Question about speed hex's/skills
Do they stack?
I was trying to run somewhere once with my warrior and a mob casts some mezmer hex on me, the one that reduces speed to 50%. (I think) So I wanna get out of there and I hit my sprint button, which should boost my speed by 33%. Sprint casts... but I don't think I'm moving any faster... I was hoping to get -50%+33% = 83% speed But I guess if sprint is applied after the hex, i'd get 133% * 50% = 66.5% which I could have just not noticed... So do speed hexes and speed increases stack? What about if two hexes were cast on you, do you just get the lower one or do you actually start moving at like 5% speed? edit: math errors Last edited by Ordas; Jun 07, 2005 at 12:03 AM // 00:03.. |

I don't believe that two speed hexes together stack, nor two speed increase spells. Correct me if I'm wrong though, but if he casts that burden on you and makes your speed decrease 50%, then you cast a spell which makes your speed increase 33% faster, wouldn't you still be moving 17% slower than normal speed?

Yes, burden+sprint is still slower than normal, but I can tell the difference when I hit sprint while I'm burdened (or have a broken leg or whatever).
